Choir Ministry

Participation

Membership: Church Membership is required for all of those college age and up. We do welcome college student participation who maintain their church membership “back home.”
Summer Particiaption: With folks gone, and teen choir not meeting during the summer participation is welcomed for those 10th-grade and older who part of our teen choir (led by Jason Rush). They or their parents can contact me directly they are interested in joining. We'd love to have them join us.

Rehearsal Schedule:
- Sunday Morning: 10:15-10:25a is our regular warmup time in preparation for the AM service.
- Sunday Afternoon: 4:30-5:10p is our regular rehearsal time on Sunday afternoons.
  - - We rehearse songs for both the AM and PM choir during this time. PM from 4:30-4:50p, AM Choir from 4:50-5:05p rehearsal
    - In preparation for special programs we often meet at 4:15pm.
Arrival Time:
- Please plan to arrive in-time to find your choir folder, pick up new music and be prepared to rehearse at 4:30p or 10:15a
Entering/Exiting the Platform
- AM - the choir enters the platform in an orderly fashion during the prelude
- PM - immediately after the afternoon choir rehearsal each choir member will find his or her seat in the appropriate section of the choir-loft
Dress Requirements:

- Ladies - head-covering, tops with sleeves, modest necklines, dresses or skirts that cover the knees when seated.
- Men - Coat & Tie

Decorum - Please keep movement to a minimum during the other aspects of the service, especially if you are in-line with camera-angles.
Exiting the Platform: The choir exits the platform on the first stanza of the final congregational

Choir Folders: If you are joining us for the first time, or rejoining and need help with your choir folder (needing a new folder, replacement stickers, finding your number, etc.) pleas contact David Washer (dkwasher16@gmail.com), our choir librarian, who would very glad to assist you.
